Into Your Soul
02:05
|

I don't know if the words in which you've spoken went and broke us right in two.
I don't know if maybe this is pointless, or maybe you just have no use (for me)
Sometimes it's tough but if it seems enough then it will pain you until you can get back up.
It will hurt you deep into your soul.
I awake to the sound of an alarm, and the sound of broken cars each day.
At least the woman next to me, she helps me feel at peace each day.
Sometimes it's tough but if it seems enough then it will pain you until you can get back up.
It will hurt you deeper than you know.

The wind's blowing from the east
The sweet sun's warmth is lost on me
The world's moving further on
And it gets colder come dawn
mmm
It feels like a mystery
The way you think is lost on me
I try a little but it all feels lost
Start it up again as if I forgot
mmm
I try to let you know but you don't know when to stop

I don't believe in religion, but it's hard for me to know.
What I believe is that we are unique animals that somehow got unpure.
I don't know that it is pointless to find hope in god.
I understand it's nice to think that we've been planned to carry out a goal, but I think we're not.
Because I've seen fire, and I've seen rain
I've seen the faithful crying in pain
And If I would pray on a word in which you'd say
I'd be waking up too damn early on those mornings
I believe we should be searching, instead of thinking that we've been found.
What I believe is that the opportunity would inspire passion if it stuck around.
I know that it is pointless to have faith in such a world.
We've been trapped, now there is no going back. So, if it's what you need, then it's what you need.

Slowly Turn To Dust
02:47
|
|||
In a dream I've been seeing myself
And I've been waking up
When the sunshine shines on my eyelids
I know I've already seen enough
So I'll go back down under the mountain
Where I will slowly turn to dust
And it's all I've been working for
Been feeling shady and been getting lazy.
However, lately I've had enough.
I've been workin' but now I'm searchin'
With no idea where I belong
So I'll go back down under the mountain
Where I will slowly turn to dust
And it's all I've been waiting for
So I'll go back down under the horizon
Where I can finally feel your warmth
And It's all I've been working for

Way Out
03:52
|
|||
Way out at sea, are you waiting there for me?
Because push came to shove, now you want me to love you.
I don't want to know about all the little bits of sympathy you wrote
It came straight to me, as if thought up in a dream.
The thought, the idea, that if you're not sincere then what are you?
I don't want to know about all the little bits of sympathy you wrote
Because I waste my time, all the time
Down by the river where the willow goes to weep, I got to thinking that there was something missing when you didn't go with me. You're not with me.
